Dear Partners and Friends of Bible Time:

Bible Time Greetings in the Lord!

As Elijah passed his mantle to Elisha, there comes a time when you should pass the mantle on to preserve the purpose and leadership of a sacred ministry. After fifty years as the Founder and Director of Proclaiming the Truth, Inc., also known as Neighborhood Bible Time, along with our Exective Board of Directors, we believe that God has chosed the man to wear the mantle, Rev. Larry Koontz.

Larry Koontz comes willing to carry the vision, convictions, philosophy, standards, procedures, and biblical truths that have made Bible Time a distinct ministry, which is separated, local church centered, a tool for winning souls, training workers and evangelists, and impacting a community with the Gospel of Christ.

Since first meeting Brother Koontz, we have shared the same burden and spirit for soul-winning and training men to be godly leaders. His experience in the sales business world, and twelve years under Pastors Frank Bumpus and Bradley Smith, at Bethel Baptist Church of Schaumburg, IL, five of those years on staff, all have prepared him for his new ministry. His wife, Nancy, daughters Jackie and Samantha, are thrilled to become a vital part of Bible Time.

May I pay my thanks to the Bible Time Executive Board members, of which I am President, Pastor Dan Perry, Vice President, Janice Maddock, Secretary/Treasurer, Mrs. Peggy Homsher, Joe Helm, Greg Peters, Pastor Al McClaran, and Pastor David Oliver, who, together with our Advisory Board, have led Bible Time to this very hour and will continue to preserve its founding purpose, "To promote the Truth, the Word of God, through Christian education, evangelism, and missionary work."

May I invite you to join hands with us and see the Lord expand this helpful and needed ministry by praying and contributing to the glory of the Lord and Savior.

Sincerely, together in Great Commission Obedience,

Charles B. Homsher, Founder/Director Emeritus
